Pooh's Corner is a peaceful landing
between Chaucer and The Nursery where some of the family papers
and pictures are displayed.
'Pooh' was the affectionate name for my father. He
was at one time Professor of Archaeology at the University of Toronto,
but later drove a bus in the North-east of England for five years,
entertaining children with colourful stories and jokes - and writing
the book: Busman's View.
Pooh's Corner has two single sofa-beds so makes a useful, extra bedroom. |
