Park House Bedrooms
Each of the six luxurious first floor bedrooms is named after their unusual door-knockers and are decorated in their own unique style. All have their own personalities and are beautifully comfortable with middle-firmest mattresses, soft duvets and luxury cotton sheets on the beds, and a generous bundle of soft white towels.
Chaucer – the oldest bedroom, with beautiful exposed oak beams, a 6’6″ bed, an extra double sofa bed, period furniture , and an en suite bathroom.
The Pump Room – a pretty room in the new wing with a 4′ 6″ bed and west facing views over the Kitchen Garden. A spacious single, or a cosy double!
Jolly Monks – located in the new wing, a twin room, decorated in glazed pink, and facing south over the garden. Jolly Monks has a large en suite bathroom with an original Victorian rolled-top bath, separate shower and a pretty view over the White Garden.
Cobbler – a sunny double room in the new wing with a Queen size bed, decorated in cheerful sunflower yellow, and facing south over the main gardens. There is a communicating door with Jolly Monks.
Trusty Servant – a cosy room located in the original wing, with a 4′ 6″ bed, beautifully furnished and decorated in green, facing east and overlooking The Tilting Yard at the front of the house.
The Nursery – facing south over the main garden, this bright room can be accessed from both the original and new wings of the house. There are twin beds that can be zipped together to form a double and an en suite modern shower room. A cot is available if required.
Pooh’s Corner – the landing that lies between Chaucer and The Nursery has two single sofa-beds allowing this space to be used as a comfortable extra bedroom if needed.
The Pump Room, The Cobbler, and Trusty Servant share a large family bathroom and there is a further cloakroom downstairs.
